The usual busbar finishes are tin, nickel and silver. Need something else? Choose Other to see gold, zinc, zinc passivate and copper. If you are unsure, choose I don’t know and we will advise you. We do them all, even large runs, so just ask.

Plating thickness

Typical busbar plating runs about 5 to 15 microns. Karas plates from a thin flash up to 50 microns to your spec. Standards (for example ISO 2093 for tin, IEC 61439 for assemblies) may set a minimum.

      Pricing depends on the base metal, finish, thickness, busbar dimensions and geometry, quantity and turnaround, plus metal prices (especially silver and gold) which move constantly, so we quote every job individually rather than publish a rate.
