When you have your metal finishing completed through Karas Plating you are assured quality at every step of the process. In the 70+ years we have been in business, we have earned accreditations and certifications with some of the leading bodies in the plating industry. Our team receives regular training to ensure they are familiar with all the guidelines and regulations they are expected to meet. Cyber Essentials

Cyber Essentials is a scheme backed by the UK government to ensure that businesses and organisations across the country have adequate security measures in place to protect themselves against online attacks and other cyber threats. Our accreditation with the scheme demonstrates our commitment to data security, allowing our clients to use our services in confidence.

The Made in Britain organisation bring together all sectors of the British manufacturing community. Its aim is to promote the high-quality good and products produced in Great Britain. Karas Plating has been part of the UKs plating industry since 1950 and we are proud to be a part of this exciting initiative.

Surface Engineering Association

The SEA is a leading trade body for the plating industry, acting as its members’ voice when it comes to legislation and governmental guidelines that affect the sector. Their primary concern is that its members are able to produce and compete successfully in a competitive global plating market. We are proud to be members of this association, one that mirrors our own dedication to quality production.

Environment Agency

Committed as we are to limiting the environmental impact of our plating process, we are registered with the Environment Agency, who keep a close eye on our disposal methods among other things. We have a permit from the Agency that covers our surface treating processes as well as our disposal of hazardous waste materials. We are obliged to keep within strict operational guidelines in order to meet our environmental responsibilities.
